AI robot boats plants 'baby corals' across the Great Barrier Reef
Australia's marine science agency is testing an AI‑guided "Deployment Guidance System" to help restore the Great Barrier Reef by precisely dropping "baby corals." It uses autonomous boats, real‑time seafloor imaging, and onboard AI to cue a dispenser that releases ceramic carriers with juvenile corals. Syakir Jasnee reports.
